In this chapter of the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , we look at Robin Rhode’s project with his meticulously calculated finger, or should I say, tire-painting masterpiece done with a 2009 BMW Z4.

This project is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! but it's still worth mentioning. The painting patterns were created by remote controlled nozzles installed close to the axles of the car. How did he create this without having a chaotic mess of colors in the whole canvas when the tires passed a different type of color? He switched up a whole new set of tires each time so the painting wouldn’t turn up as a giant finger-painting made by a 5 year old. If the painting needed a dose of color, Rhode walked on the painting wearing some socks and drizzled paint where it was needed.

While all of this complex undertaking was happening, another crew was recording it with 45 camera angles for a TV commercial. They were done in 12 hours.

Here is the TV commercial with some more photos.
